The Institute for American Art in Portland generously allowed me to transform one of their rooms into an interactive multimedia installation, Plant Office: A Paean to Industrialism and its Mausolea.  The piece was a romanticized contraction of a behemoth abandoned power station that once employed a lot of people and burned a lot of coal.  

Not conveyed in these images is a video loop presenting as CCTV, sounds of gurgling and clanging, and smells of decomposition.
